PL Vulcan Fire Training Concepts offer both Classroom & Hands-On Training by "Experienced Firefighters"
We pride ourselves on the fact we are a "senior" teaching crew. The Instructors all have 20+ years of experience in the fire service.

Take a look at our programs to decide which ones may be of interest to your Department.
Our most popular program is the "Weekend Combination Program". PL Vulcan offers Friday night Classroom Lecture along with a Saturday Hands-On Program. The Lecture runs approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours. The Hands-On portion is 8 hours. This program allows firefighters to get their training requirements fulfilled without being put in the "doghouse" with their significant other.

The PLV guys will be headed this coming weekend to Georgetown, Ma where they will train over 60 students as part of the New England FOOLS Training Series. Mark Gregory will be lecturing at Uniondale FD as part of their lecture series. The program for the day will be "This is Not Your Grandfather's Fire Service".

Mark Gregory has over over 27 years of combined service. He is currently a Lieutenant in the FDNY assigned to Tower Ladder 111 (The Nuthouse Truck) and as an Instructor at the FDNY Academy. Previous assignments include Ladder Company 132 and Rescue 2. Mark is also a volunteer firefighter in his hometown of East Quogue, NY. He has served through all the ranks including Chief of Department and Commissioner and currently serves as the Mentor for the Junior Firefighter Program. Mark is a Deputy Chief Instructor with the Suffolk County Fire Academy, Lead Instructor for the FDIC HOT Program "Man vs Machine", and Partner of P.L. Vulcan Fire Training Concepts LLC.
